About Adam Komar

As a comedian, Adam Komar uses word play with a playfully corrosive demeanor while discussing what life has thrown at him over the years and what he's done to cope with it, learn from it and deal with it in the best way he can.

As a writer, he enjoys writing in the genre of superheroes and supervillains. Most of his current writing focuses on a character of his creation named Psychophant who drains the life energy from those around him to enhance his own capabilities.

New Story

Posted a new story about Life Leech called Compatibility. Life Leech finds out that not knowing what you're capable of can cost you your life.

Psychophant to Life Leech

I'm going to be doing a lot of editing to Psychophant. First of which is a change to his hero persona name. He's no longer Psychophant and, as far as his character history goes, he never was. He's Life Leech. I posted a new story called, "Name That Hero" that shows how he got that name.

Home Again, Home Again.

New Mid-Year

Houston's Funniest and "The Dark Prophecy"

The Houston's Funniest Person Contest ended for me tonight. Read my latest blog entitled, "Follow-up: Houston's Funniest Person Contest" for all the information.

Also, I've posted a new story about Psychophant called, "The Dark Prophecy" that features characters created by some other creative minds. There involvement isn't too heavy so hopefully it'll still be easy to understand for people who aren't familiar with the characters.

New Section: Stories

I just added a new section to the website called, "Stories". You'll find it under the "Prose" menu. I've written a couple of stories about a character I created named, "Psychophant". They're superhero stories chalked full of tragedy and the desire to overcome that tragedy. Right now, there's just his origin story and a story about his very distant future (around the year 2159 A.D.). I have a third story listed, but I don't have it posted, yet. Waitin' on some feedback from a friend first.

I also have three or four more stories that I plan to write for that character. If you like the first two then keep an eye out for those as well.
